Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Bodegaly collects while providing the shopping service, why we collect it, how it is used and stored, and how you can exercise your rights.
Effective: 1 September 2026
Information we collect
01
Account data: phone number or email, display name and login credentials. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes — we cannot recover the plaintext
02
Transaction data: ordered items, amounts, payment method and status. Card details and similar sensitive data are handled by the payment provider and never reach our systems
03
Delivery data: recipient name, contact number and shipping address, used for fulfilment and after-sales
04
Usage data: browsing history, favourites and cart, used for recommendations and to restore unfinished actions
How we use and share it
01
To deliver core services — ordering, payment, shipping, returns — and to verify account security
02
To deliver your parcel we share the recipient name, phone number and address with the carrier
03
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not disclose it to third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent
Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of cookies to remember your sign-in state, language and currency preferences, and storefront theme. They are not used for cross-site advertising. Clearing cookies in your browser will also sign you out and reset your language and currency preferences.
Retention and your rights
01
Account and transaction records are kept while your account is active. After deletion, only transaction records required by law are retained; everything else is deleted or anonymised
02
You can view and correct your account and delivery details, and request an export or deletion of your personal information
03
To exercise these rights, contact us via the Contact Us page. We respond within 15 business days
